Now introducing the SSC R210 prototype racecar – campaign is now live on indiegogo!

Now introducing the SSC R210 racecar – a high performance car developed by The SSC Company. First of all, we want to present us. We are a team of young engineers who founded the SSC Company (South Tyrol Supercars), a new manufactory of prototype racecars with seat in northern Italy. We have planned a whole new racecar (track use only!), the R210, a race car that has the best price-performance ratio in its class (picture and the development trailer on our website or on YouTube).

Our target is to sell some of these cars, to give people the chance having a racecar for less money. With a self-made, high technology frame and our proven pushrod suspension the car will be very lightly and directly and able to reach remarkable lap times around a track. Because of its self-made frame it’s possible to use different kinds of engines: every customer can choose from downsized to high performance engines or electric engines. Surrounded by a streamlined body, our car will be an aggressive, precise weapon for the track and affordable for everyone.

Our problem is that we haven’t got enough funding to start the production. So we have decided to use indiegogo to present our project the whole world and maybe to get some help. If the project will be successful and if we get enough help, we’re also ready to participate at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. To realize this racecar, we need a lot of money. But it’s not only the car we need the funding for: also the machines to build it are needed.
