Muy buenas a todos. Somos Iñigo Bordiu y Fran Moreta. Dos directores de cine españoles luchando por hacerse un hueco en esta difícil y maravillosa profesión que es el cine. Para ello, os presentamos Psychopaths un thriller psicológico que os va a tener enganchados desde el primer segundo.
El cortometraje cuenta los experimentos que Max Flynn, un desequilibrado médico, efectúa sobre pacientes necesitados de dinero. Jugando con su desesperación, Max juega con ellos haciéndoles ver lo que cada uno piensa del otro. Todo con el objetivo de demostrar una sola cosa: que todo el mundo, sea quien sea, tiene un psicópata en su interior; que todo el mundo, si fuese capaz de ver lo que el prójimo piensa realmente de él, desataría sus instintos más primarios y animales de su ser.

The short film tells the experiments that Max Flynn, a pycho doctor, makes with human beings that are desperate for money. Playing with this factor, Max tries to prove one simple thing: that if one person would be able to see what the other one thinks about him, this will awake all the animal instincts hidden in every person. Turning everything into one end: death.
Lo que necesitamos y lo que obtienes/ What we need, what you get!
De los 26.000 dólares que estipulamos como presupuesto, 10.000 van a servir para pagar a todo el equipo humano que necesitamos para grabar el proyecto. 5.000 dólares irán para pagar las localizaciones y dietas de los cinco días de rodaje; Unos 1.500 aproximadamente se destinará a maquillaje y vestuario. Debido a que tenemos que crear un dispositivo desde cero, unos 1.500 dólares irán destinados a diseño de producción. Misma cifra para la post producción que incluirá el salario de un mezclador de sonido y efectos especiales. El resto irá destinado a cuestiones como alquiler de furgoneta para trasladar al equipo humano, alquiler del camión para trasladar el equipo técnico, permisos de parking, y alquiler de materiales. Y por supuesto, gastos de distribución para festivales.
The budget that we planned is $26,000. And here is how we are going to spend it: $8,000 will go to pay all the crew members that we need for filming this project. $5,000 will pay the locations and food we need to have the crew happy! around $1,500 will pay Make-up materials and wardrobe. Same budget for props and another extra $1,500 for paying a good post production sound designer and mixer. The rest of the money is going to pay several things such as: rent of a van for moving the company; rent of a truck for moving all the equipment we need; parking permits and other materials. Of course, we will save money for distribution expenses for festivals.
