The Mach 3 design was inspired by a timeless frame shape, enhanced with hand-crafted wooden temples and acetate material. Every element of the design came from months of research and development. Working with wood and acetate was a challenge but after continued testing and working with a great manufacturing team, we were able to produce a quality product with you in mind.
Wood is not too forgiving so adding a spring hinge allows the frame to fit perfectly to your face. For us, the coolest thing is the comfort and wearability of the Mach 3 and we’re excited to share this moment with you. Comfort is key and we feel we really nailed it by adding 5 barrel spring hinges to the temple of the frame.
