The Chugometer is a flowmeter specifically designed to attach to the end of a beer bong to tell you exactly how much beer you’ve chugged, how fast you’ve chugged it, and most importantly, who of your fellow Chugonaughts is the greatest.
We’ve designed the Chugometer to have a very simple user interface to ensure that no matter how refreshed you are from chugging beer, you’ll still know how fast your chug was. The Chugometer is designed to fit a standard 5/8” (20mm) polyethylene tube and funnel so whether you’re adding it to your own DIY bong or you’ve ordered one to accompany your Chugometer, it will fit. Just turn it on and chug!
Here at Madhouse Innovations, we’re pioneering the surprisingly complex field of Chugonometry – the science of chugging beer. Once you’ve completed your chug, the 2.5” LCD will tell you chug time, volume, and beers per minute (BPM). Your BPM is the key to comparing your chug time with your fellow chugonaughts who may be chugging different volumes.
The Chugometer uses an impeller that communicates with a PCB in the housing to calculate real-time flow rate of beer. The software then converts that into your “Chugometrics” that you can use to compete with your fellow Chugonaughts. The key to Chugonometry is Beerometric Pressure. This is the pressure at the spout of your Chugometer as you chug. Beerometric pressure is defined by a combination of hydro-static and dynamic fluid pressures, which ultimately means the taller your bong, the higher the beerometric pressure and the faster you can chug!
