Deep inside each human a monster waits to be born. Society represses the urge, rebels embrace the edge of the rage, and in an instant of survival, one woman will be transformed by it. The battle for control of her body, mind and soul will begin and no one is safe from the slaughter to come. ‘Nothing Bad’ is the World-Premiere musical with Book by Erik Blair and Score by Daniel Sugi.
Nothing Bad will be premiering as part of the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival, the biggest performing arts festival in California. Each June Fringe creates countless opportunities for artists to make amazing live theatre. We are so excited to be a part of the festival this year and are dedicated to putting on a frightfully funny show.
We want to rock Los Angeles with a Dark, 21st century approach to the Werewolf story that touches on modern themes and concerns. We have already committed to producing this show, with the script and music ready for actors, the cast chosen and rehearsals underway. We are registered with the festival and have paid for our performances, so one way or another the production WILL be happening!
The risks and challenges, therefore, are those that every new theatrical production faces–the show might exist but suffer from a lack of talent, drive or excellence. It might happen but be missing that energy, excitement or passion.
That’s why we put together a Kickstarter, to help pay the talent that help make this show a reality both on stage and off. As well as hopefully offsetting some of the production costs that have already gone towards the show. On the page there is a specific breakdown of where every dollar will go as well as some preview recordings so that you will know what you are helping to make happen.
