WHO?

NO GREATER GOOD is an experimental arts magazine that is at once about everything and nothing at all (kind of like Seinfeld!). Started by a collective of LA-based, architecturally-educated designers, No Greater Good – or NoGG for short – aims to capture the frenetic energy that pumps through the veins of our city, to pull together the thoughts and queries and passions and rants that build up in our minds and have nowhere to go.

WHAT?

The inaugural issue, UNTITLED, is a collection of work created with no overarching theme, its only connective thread a shared and insatiable desire to create. As such, it offers a wide variety of content, from written articles to photography and original illustrations. The subject matter of these works runs the gamut from architecture and art to food, fashion, music, product design, digital fabrication, and beyond – creating a slice of life from the collective headspace of a group of creatives living and working in LA.

WHY?

No Greater Good lies at the crux of essential and frivolous – and that is exactly what excites us the most. It ignites within us – and hopefully in others – the burning desire to chase our dreams, no matter how wild or irreverent. To be bizarre. To be ourselves. To have the ideas nobody pays us to have. Does it make sense? Not entirely. But that may be the point – it’s often in the fragments of nonsense that we find the truest of truths.

The deepest thank you from the bottom of our hearts,

No Greater Good
