PICISI (pronounced ‘pic-ee-see’) is an ambitious plan for an innovative crowdfunding site. Campaign organizers will be able to raise funds in common currencies such as: USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, etc… as well as cryptocurrency like: BTC, EMC2, HYPER, METAL etc …, every campaign approved to be featured on the site will receive a fighting chance to succeed, every campaign will receive some funding, some publicity, and sponsorship.
Every crowdfunding site is blessed to have angels who support campaigns even though said angels may have no direct connection to the campaign(s) they fund. In addition to angles PICISI is expected to have sponsors who will supply support in the form of sponsorship, funding, and motivation; currently PICISI has 23 sponsors.
In order to make sure that every campaign receives some publicity PICISI seeks to hire over 200 self-employed marketing professionals from around the world to do assignments that will promote PICISI, PICISI sponsors, and campaigns featured at PICISI.com; presently PICISI has 17 Promotion Contractors.
Before PICISI’s official launch the site must be designed, constructed, and tested. A few months ago the site’s Executive Director (ED) commissioned a concept design so everyone could get an idea of what the site would look like during development — see design on home page at: www.PICISI.com. With the designs in hand the ED ordered a bid request to find a skilled programmer to code the project. Of the 100+ applicants Prashant (Sunny) Dwivedi of newrise.in based in Bhopal, India ultimately received the contract.Early in the bid process Sunny set himself apart from his competition when he indicated: “[i]t’s important for me to build longterm relationships with clients, so I am primarily looking for long term projects”; Sunny also identified himself as: “… self-motivated … [and] … solutions-oriented …”, all of those were specific qualities PICISI was hoping to see.
The 20+ projects showcased in Sunny’s extensive portfolio enabled PICISI admins to see his wide array of skills, but it was his polite persistence, ability to communicate quickly, ability to exercise professional care, and his excellent references enabled site admins know that Sunny could be trusted to do the job. When sunny indicated that he intended to code the project from scratch instead of using a cookie-cutter theme, site admins were overjoyed.
When asked how he was going to develop PICISI he said: “I am developing front end page with the use of html, css and bootstrap for the back end I will use custom php and make every customization per client need.”
PICISI officials are clearly pleased with the association, the ED said: “PICISI is an extremely complex project that will likely experience exponential growth in the coming months, having someone like Sonny whose energy, experience, skill set, and mind set are all in sync with our team enable us to be confident that the site will deliver the type of performance the PICISI community expects.”
Academically Sunny matriculated in Computer Science/Engineering, upon graduation he decided web design and development would be his career. He has 5+ year experience as a coder: core php, cake php, psd to html, html5, bootstrap, css3, css as well as web design. Sunny wants to use his web development skills to make a big contribution to the world, given his new position as the lead developer for PICISI it seems he is well on his way to reaching that goal.
