Taylorsville, NC – On Sep 2nd, CuddleBook Buddies launched a Kickstarter campaign for their new educational plush toys that foster reading and learning among children of all ages. The first product in their new education line is the ‘Cuddlebook Buddies Bear,’ a 24 inch, soft and cuddly, chenille stuffed animal. The bear has bendable paws and arms that grasp around the front and back cover of a book and hold it in place so a child can turn pages as he or she reads.

After completing the initial prototype and design of the product, Harrington decided to turn to the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform to help finance the manufacturing and shipping of the initial production run.
Within the first three days of launching the campaign, the project has raised $1,315 from backers interested in supporting the Cuddlebook Buddy line and owning the new Cuddlebook Buddies Bear.

In exchanging for pledging support, backers have the chance to receive a number of ‘perks’ or ‘rewards’ including a drawstring tote with the Cuddlebook Buddies logo, an exclusive Kickstarter backer t-shirt, or the new Cuddlebook Buddies Bear.
