Amanda is a composer from Mexico city, her music could be considered genre-less although it does has profound roots on jazz and Latin american folk music,she has studied with teachers such like Bobby Mcferrin, Elio Villafranca, Scott Tixier, Agustín Bernal, Iraida Noriega y Magos Herrera.
She has toured both Mexico and other countries like Colombia and India, where she was part of the Jazz Festival of New Delhi along with the pianist Alex Mercado.
Her first EP was well received by national and international critics; she now has produced a full album and is about to launch her third production titled “Chronicles”
This adventure started two years ago on 2017, with the recollection of stories sent by the fans, some of these had similar topics and story lines that in the end managed to create 10 songs, then this were musicalized by Amanda with love. Now the album is ready to be released on October accompanied by a live performance on the University of the Cloister of Sor Juana.
