Moneta, VA — On March 26 2017, Rob Kendall launched a Kickstarter campaign for the Prep Packs Survival Belt, a practical belt with survival tools to help get you out of a bad situation in a flash.

From family camping trips to more extreme adventures, everyone will love the Survival Belt’s sleek, compact design. This belt is comfortable and lightweight, yet it contains everything you need to start a fire, purify water, find your way to camp if you get lost, and much more.

“Prep Packs’ Survival Belt has all the tools needed in case of an emergency compacted inside your buckle,” the team explains, “The convenient storage compartment allows easy access to all the high-quality survival tools in seconds. Be the first to get one on Kickstarter!”

Rob Kendall has been working on the Prep Packs Survival Belt for two years and is excited to share his survival belt with the world. He is proud to announce that after many prototypes and adjustments he has a durable, finished product ready to be manufactured and is using only the best materials in outdoor adventuring and survival. Now, Kendall has chosen to turn to the Kickstarter community for help meeting the manufacturer’s minimum order for the first production run.

Each fully loaded, sleek buckle includes a Grade AA Button Compass, Folding Razor Knife, Titanium Whistle, Ferrocerium Rod, Dog Tag Signaling Mirror, Microlight, Two Tinder Tabs, 6ft of 3 strand Kevlar Cordage, a Mini Fishing Kit, One 3/4″ x 6″ Duct Tape, a Safety Pin, and Two Water Purification Tablets.

The buckle is 3″ x 1 3/4″ and the compartment has a depth of 3/8″. The belt itself is 40″ in length and can be adjusted by simply cutting it and singing the end with a lighter. It is made of 1 1/2″ extra stiff scuba webbing so it will not sag or fold under the stress of gear.

“I wanted to bring high quality gear in a minimalist package for the outdoorsman, says Rob, “No matter what supplies are forgotten or lost, wearers of the Prep Packs Survival Belt will have the essentials needed to survive in a worst-case scenario.”

In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of rewards, including a basic buckle for $30, a fully-packed belt for $80, and more. Backers can also pledge $115 for only packed and one empty belt buckle and strap or $150 for two full belts.
