ModSwap is an innovation in magnetic iPhone accessories. Our pass-through case design allows accessories to interface directly with the back of the phone while also being supported by the case. This creates a thinner assembly and requires less magnets which enables a whole new suite of more sleek, more secure and more versatile magnetic iPhone accessories.

Over a year ago we realized that if you cut a hole in your case, you could place your magnetic accessory directly on the back of your phone. So, we did just that…
Despite the ugly appearance of this first prototype, it was a huge success. It allowed for a thinner assembly and did not negatively affect the functionality. We even had random people on the subway asking about it! That is when we knew we were on to something.
We quickly realized that another benefit of this design was the added security. The case cutout provided support that prevented the accessories from sliding or rotating. This added support enabled new magnet configurations which allowed us to add a money compartment to the bottom of the wallet. So, not only did we create a design that was thinner and more secure, but it also enabled new functionality!
Since then, we have been working tirelessly develop this innovation into a high-quality product that we can be proud of and believe me when I tell you it has NOT been easy. We have spent thousands of dollars, creating numerous prototypes with a handful of different manufacturers. Attention to detail is not something that we take lightly and when you look at our prototype progression this is evident.
