SAN FRANCISCO, CA, JULY 19TH, 2013
Visionary Bay Area creative agency The UDDA (Unified Digital Design Associates) announces the launch of a Kickstarter campaign to fund Zammis Adventures, the first ever mobile game to incorporate Burning Man’s core values, or “Ten Principles.”

The annual festival of Burning Man that draws over 50,000 people for 1 week to Black Rock City, Nevada is driven by 10 principles that include gifting, radical inclusion, self-expression, and communal effort–and Zammis Adventures reflect these values in a unique way not found in other mobile games.

Designer Adam Holcomb, The UDDA Principal and Founder, explains what fired his passion for bringing this genre-busting game into being, “I began this project as a way to challenge myself artistically as well as creatively. Burning Man has fed my imagination in such a way, I feel like this is my own off-playa art piece. Two Burning Man elements most deeply rooted within Zammis Adventures are the magic of fire spinning and the idea of creating new friendships through art. It’s our hope that Zammis Adventures will also spark the imaginations of everyone it touches.”

Players will lead protagonist Zammis and his trusty sidekicks Mookie and Bishop in an epic quest for a new home in this side-scrolling format, 2D and 3D mobile experience. The deeply immersive visual world designed by Adam Holcomb is perfectly matched by a richly layered, bass-driven EDM soundscape composed by musician Braden McCall and other big name producers to be announced. Players will notice Zammis Adventures is lacking in just one area: violence.

A refreshing departure from the ubiquitous shooting and looting of games currently flooding the mobile market; Zammis Adventures players will travel lush, surreal realms collecting cheesy snacks and transforming foes into new friends. (Of course, Zammis and friends are bound to encounter a few inevitable challenges and adrenalin pumping scrapes along the way.)

Desi Danganan, the company’s Mangement Consultant says, “I’m excited to be on board with Zammis Adventure to build a new community of gamers that value street inspired art, kick-ass soundscapes, and epic non-violent gameplay. Nothing like this exists. When the community votes by backing this project and getting cool rewards like limited edition canvas prints it’ll be the first step to redefining the iPhone gaming genre for a whole new audience of gamers.”
