Original Classic Fidget Spinner is over 6O percent funded on Kickstarter which ends June 18. Will this invention be saved?
Fidget Spinners have infiltrated our popular culture recently. With an increasing population of stressed and overworked people, it’s no wonder this little handheld device took off. Today the original invention can be found at ClassicSpinner.com. While the current little handheld devices are all the craze now, the idea of a fidget spinner was invented years ago in a kid’s play and design room in Orlando, FL. Today is all about the original inventor getting to 100% which then funds this project on Kickstarter which ends June 18.
“I was thrilled to see so many enjoying the current craze,” said Catherine Hettinger, the inventor of the patent for the classic fidget spinner. “I was probably the least surprised in the world as we had placed the original Classic Fidget Spinners on fingers of hundreds of people in each age group.”
Credited by many for the invention of the fidget spinner and inventor of the patent for “spinning toy” , Catherine Hettinger has started a Kickstarter campaign to fund the manufacturing of the classic spinner she invented.
To date, the Classic Fidget Spinner campaign is over 60 percent funded on Kickstarter. The campaign ends on Sunday, June 18th at 10:30PM ESTand to get the project funded the campaign needs to reach the goal of $24,000 by the campaign end date or it doesn’t happen and backers won’t get their rewards.
If it funds up to the goal, then the original patented classic fidget spinner will get made. “We see this as a good shot at success,” said Hettinger. “Because of all the new tools today, we are able to stake a claim and stand up for the classic invention. Something as simple as a website like ClassicSpinner.com can be googled and our Kickstarter putting in Hettinger and Spinner is accessible to everyone. In the past, any startup was at such a profound disadvantage compared to the big boys that barriers to entry were substantial. Now we can be optimistic.”
The Classic Fidget Spinner was designed by an inventor who had done safety engineering. . Everyone can spin on their fingers with a dome balanced and when moving angular momentum provides balance. It carefully sits atop of one’s finger so the user can spin it with the same hand and without much effort. It has to be tried to appreciated fully.
Hettinger invented the Classic Spinner because she wanted kids to be kids and move and play. Then she discovered adults love it to be able to calm down. “I’m thrilled people are developing an understanding that both adults and children need to move in various ways in order to tap into their creative sides,” she said. “Hopefully our Classic Fidget Spinner will deliver more notes to a creative symphony that in some ways improves things a tiny bit and helps all of us do this important aspect of human activities—having fun!”
