From their shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the pair creates high quality maps and cityscapes from the highest quality hardwoods. Each map is lasercut, then hand assembled on the fabric of your choice, and finished with a custom frame made in our shop. WoodenMap.com was born from Adam and Jacob’s woodworking background, and love of great craftsmanship and design. Adam has already proven his skill in production and design through his company Two Guys Bow Ties, combining old school craftsmanship with modern style to create wooden bow ties and lapels. Jacob’s ability to fix, repair, and maintain all our machinery and production processes keeps our shop running smooth and allows us to create a distinct piece of art that not only represents a place you love and hold dear, but will also allow you many opportunities to share why you celebrate this place as home.
We get regularly asked why we do what we do. It’s because we’re all locals somewhere. We each have a place that is home: a city, state, or country where we’ve lived and worked, grown up, loved family and friends, shared meals, and made memories together. Our desire is to bring you two new products featuring our wooden maps and cityscapes in large form. The first will be a gallery size split panel option. It’s a look that is bold and daring, and great for a larger wall in your home or office. This product will display your map of choice on three different panels.
The second option is a gallery size free floating map. This product features the map in pure hardwood form, with no frame or fabric. All focus is on the distinct pattern of the wood grain, resulting in a rugged, beautiful piece that coordinates with any style or color palette. It’s a work of art that’s created by nature and refined by WoodenMap.com.
