Tic Toc: Time Is Your Sandbox puts players in control of time itself. Startup studio Moresome Games promises a fully dynamic timeline which adapts to the players every action. A timeline where the player saves the dinosaurs and they later become the ruling species is just one example of what is possible in Tic Toc. Moresome Games founder, Kyle Warwick, says that Tic Toc has been a dream project for many years and that the opportunity to return to the game development scene with the right experience and an amazing team is very exciting.
“For as long as I can remember I have wanted to play a time travel game where I could watch the world change in meaningful ways based on my actions,” Mr. Warwick said. “While games like Fable have made promises of some of the content we offer, none have truly delivered on the experience – I am equally shocked and excited that we will be the first to truly deliver on this.”
Mr. Warwick says that $15000 will be the smallest amount required to deliver the base product. If the campaign exceeds expectations, he would like to add an invasion style multiplayer mode similar to Dark Souls or Watch Dogs. In this game mode, other players will invade the players timeline in the shoes of other time travellers intent on stealing their loot.
The project is live on Kickstarter until June 30, 2014 and the team is seeking at least $15000. In return, backers will be able to receive rewards including t-shirts, alpha and beta access and the opportunity to help design characters, items and corporations in the game.
