Milwaukee, WI – On July 17 2015, tenTollo launched a Kickstarter campaign for the new Cookie Shots Baking Set, a baking set designed for your inner child – with a grownup twist. Cookie Shots were made popular by the Dominique Ansel Bakery in NYC, and now this custom baking set allows you to make your own naughty nostalgic concoctions from home!
“As many things do, this product came about by accident. Sometimes the best brainstorming is a group of friends and a few drinks on aSaturday night,” the team says, “This unique baking set allows for the blending of two things we already love into one unforgettable dessert.”
The Cookie Shots Baking Set includes a custom molded silicone pan, wooded tamper, silicone brush and a recipe guide. The recipe guide contains five tested starter dough recipes (shortbread, chocolate, peanut butter, chocolate chip and ginger snap), along with 20 shot suggestions.
The pan is oven and dishwasher safe, and the wooden tamper is designed to create evenly baked walls of cookie dough. The silicone brush is also dishwasher safe and easily fits inside the shots for application of chocolate and other cookie sealing layers. With the current timeline, backers of this Kickstarter campaign should have their rewards shipped just in time for the Christmas season!
“tenTollo is a start-up design studio, a creative collective guided by 10 exalted principles or “tollos” in Latin,” the creators explain, “Our goal is to apply these principles, to create need and meaningful products. We look beyond the product, to create quality relationships by manufacturing locally when possible.”
In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of rewards including one Cookie Shots Baking Set for the limited early bird special of $10 or the special Kickstarter price of $15, two sets for $30, and five sets for $50! Small retailers can also pledge $100 to receive ten Cookie Shots Baking Sets.
