November 17, New York – MagNit has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to bring to the market a new personal device mounting system, which will give users unprecedented freedom and confidence while handling any smartphone or tablet.
The MagNit Mounting system is comprised of several components: a ferromagnetic stylus, a universal magnet mount, four slim mini-docs to securely attach the device to any non-metallic surfaces, and high performance 3M adhesive pads. Both versatile and high in functionality, it can be used as a kickstand, or a wall, car, or tripod mount and a time-lapse stand, perfect for taking selfies or capturing videos. The stylus has a ferromagnetic steel core, a standard 1/4″ camera tread, soft coating, and a replaceable nib. Users will enjoy the feel of this stylus due to its compact, precise, flexible design.
MagNit is compatible with any model of smartphones and tablets as well as smartphone’s hard cases. Strong magnetic force adds a large variety of mounting options, and MagNit’s design allows users to easily position a smartphone or a tablet to virtually any viewing angle.
The MagNit Mount is laser-cut and engraved in-house. Its center is built of thin yet very strong nickel-plated magnet, and the set comes in two metallic finishes to choose from: gold or silver.
The MagNit was created by Columbia University alumni Boris Ignatov. “In fast pasing lives of contemporary people smartphone has become an ultimate tool used well beyond verbal conversations. Our goal is to deliver a simple and minimalistic product that compliments your mobile device, and expands the ways you can use the technology.” Said the designer.
Kickstarter has helped nearly 100,000 creators bring their dreams to life. MagNit ’s team wants to use their crowdfunding campaign to receive market feedback, and to fund mass-production of their innovative technology. Early supporters can preorder the set on Kickstarter, with prices starting at $21. The expected delivery date is February of 2016.
