LOS ANGELES – December, 2013 – Magic Square Productions LLC has launched a Crowdfunder Show campaign to raise funds for the feature film The Patsy. Written by David LeTourneau, The Patsy is a true story about Lee Oswald and Harvey Oswald, who became “Lee Harvey Oswald” on November 22, 1963.
Just an update to let you know that a Canadian TV station will be airing “The Patsy” segment on their show about crowd funding.
You see, most crowd funding campaigns such as “The Patsy” need to demonstrate interest from an initial group of donors in order to build momentum so outsiders will contribute when they see it on TV. This is why the TV company has set up a web page where people can buy sponsored gift cards with a percentage going to the campaign.
If you are planning to buy gift cards for Christmas giving anyway, please consider getting them through “The Patsy’s” page. You can select from the gift cards, like Home Depot, Best Buy or Starbucks, for the same dollar amount that you contribute.
That means you can help film project by purchasing everyday items you’d probably buy anyway.
If you are not interested in gift cards, perhaps you can spread the news on your Facebook page by clicking the ‘share’ button under the top picture on the campaign page.
