“You can spend hours trying to fish a pull string inside wall, floor, and ceiling spaces, especially when they are insulated, and it can be very frustrating. With this new tool, it can be done in less than one minute,” says the creator, Steve Fisher, “And what makes the MagFish product special is its unique shape that is designed to tunnel right under insulation. Also, inside is a very powerful Rare-Earth magnet that has a pull-strength of 21 lbs.”
Just insert the MagFish into the wall space and, using the 2-inch MagRing positioned on the outside side of the wall, slide the MagFish across, down or up to your desired location in seconds! Then, hook the high-visibility cord and pull the MagFish out; it’s that easy! You now have a sturdy pull cord to attach your wires or cables to and then just pull them through.
The MagFish kit includes: a MagFish with 10 feet of attached high visibility cord, a cord retriever hook, a surface protection cap (for sensitive surface protection), and our Rare-Earth 2- inch MagRing (with a pull strength of 200 lbs.). It all comes in a handy storage tube to keep everything together.
