Vallejo, CA (April 28, 2015) – LifeGear Design is proud to announce the launch of their newest Kickstarter campaign: LiteWear™. LiteWear™ is a line of lighted vests designed to keep you safe during everyday activities. With so many accidents and unnecessary fatalities due to sheer lack of visibility, LifeGear has created LiteWear™ to provide safety solutions for every day uses: work zones, outdoor activities, transportation, first responders, and even our beloved furry friends. With Professional, Active, and Pet versions of the vest, all loved ones can add more visibility to their daily journeys, whether they are out for an early morning bike ride or directing traffic on a rainy night.
“The moment we saw this light technology we knew that we had the wherewithal to turn it into life-saving wearable technology for children, pets, athletes and workers. Thousands are killed and injured each year – We have an intense sense of urgency to reverse that trend, ” shared Magi Raible, CEO & Founder, LifeGear Design.
The LiteWear™ Vest is made from High-Viz athletic grade materials – polyester ripstop and mesh – and features 17 waterproof LED lights powered by two small replaceable lithium watch batteries. The lights will operate for over 200 hours and can be turned on and off easily with a switch of a button. The vest is available in a variety of sizes and features an adjustable draw cord to ensure a snug and perfect fit. LiteWear™ Pet Vest will be offered in three adjustable sizes to fit even the largest and smallest of dogs.
LifeGear™ has successfully funded two previous Kickstarter campaigns: Aero-Try and Mobile Pro. Their first campaign for the Aero-Tray continues to sell well across the United States and has garnered favorable attention from press outlets such as Los Angeles Times, CNBC, National Geographic Traveller, and USA Today. Their most recently crowdfunded project, Mobile Pro – the ultimate smart bag – is set to hit the market in May 2015 after an incredibly successful campaign in early 2015.
