My name is Robert Williams and I’m the founder of KidzRocket. I’m a retired businessman and grandfather. My business experiences prior to Internet interests were in healthcare services including developing and operating commercial level computerized medical testing laboratories and diagnostic imaging centers. I also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of an acute care community hospital.
In retirement I realized the problem parents and grandparents were now facing with kids using the Internet and social media. Almost daily I see reports in the press, television, and radio of kids getting into trouble using some popular social networking websites. After some thought I believed an alternate and safer approach was possible that would protect kids from cyber-bullies, predators, phishing scams, and other problems, but allow kids to have fun too.
After a number of years the website began to take shape. The site is currently in development to be the safest social networking experience for children including loads of multi-fun and educational content. We’re on the way making social networking a safer place for our kids through age pre-teen.
