The 3″ Folding Firebox Nano (patent pending) is the coolest backpacking stove you’ve ever seen. At less than 6 ounces, the Firebox Nano is only 3″ wide and folds down to a ridiculously thin .25″. With its proprietary cross-feed fuel delivery system, this new little stove can easily bring 2 cups of water to a boil in under 5 minutes. Even with all this power, the Firebox Nano is one of the smallest wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves on the market. Like its big brother, the Folding Firebox Nano is hinged and requires absolutely no assembly.

Over the past three years, we’ve used the same great manufacturing partner right here in the USA to produce our innovative stove designs. our new Folding Firebox Nano will be the third stove we have taken to market. We’ve learned a lot about the manufacturing process with our first two stoves and, with your help, we are hoping to speed up the production process on the new Nano. Here is what we have complete so far –
– Create and test a prototype of the initial concept
– Create production prototype drawings and programming
– Gather supplier quotes and determine pricing viability
– Create a pre-production prototype
– Thoroughly test the pre-production prototype
– Make any necessary adjustments to design and materials
– Finalize the production drawings and programming
– Make and test a production prototype
– Finalize suppliers and production costs
Before we can ship the new Nano, we need to raise money to finalize these last four steps (this is why we need your help) –
– Order the necessary custom production tooling
– Buy the raw materials and complete a small quantity run to test the tooling
– Fine-tune the final production programming and equipment
– Go to full production
