CHANHASSEN, MN. (July 20, 2014) – An Ohio man raising over $60,000 to make Potato Salad has made headlines for Kickstarter, but the crowd funding web-site is more then Potato salad, the sites mission is to help bring creative projects to life. Chanhassen creative business owner, Jackie Coulter has gained significant progress in just 10 days of her Kickstarter campaign. Coulter who runs, Embellish by Jackie – Handmade Greeting Cards, is looking to raise funds to expand her website. Her goal is to raise $5000 for development and marketing of the site. Kickstarter campaigns by nature are all or nothing, meaning Coulter gets to keep the pledged funds only if she meets her $5000 goal. Not only will supporting small businesses and creative souls on Kickstarter make you feel good, but supporters of campaigns are given rewards for their contributions. Coulter’s unique and embellished greeting cards will be sent to supporters as their rewards. To pledge in the campaign and secure rewards for yourself go to www.kickstarter.com.

Embellish by Jackie was started in September of 2009 by Chanhassen entrepreneur, Jackie Coulter. Coulter is originally from Kimball, MN and has been rubber stamping and making greeting cards since she was in middle school. Although Coulter was a common stop for visitors at the Chanhassen Farmers market in the summers of 2011 and 2012 and still can be found at other local craft sales the majority of her greeting cards are sold online through her Etsy site. Coulter is a current member of the Chanhassen Rotary club and an active member of the Southwest Metro Chamber of Commerce
