Directed by Ryutaro Nakagawa,’Plastic Love Story’ is his newest feature film after ‘Raindrop’ (Official Selection of New York City International Film Festival 2014) and ‘Calling’ (Best Cinematography Award of Boston International Film Festival 2013). These films are considered by many to be part of a new cinematic movement currently taking place in Japan.
This film portrays the strength of Japan’s young generation as they overcome hardships and peer into their futures.
