We are The Mute Collective, a small extreme sports clothing brand and ever changing collaboration of creative people. All like minded individuals working towards a common goal; the Stoke of Life and extreme social banditry, lived through shredding with our best friends. We are the bridge of enthusiasm and an outlet for expressing ourselves creatively; unearthing undiscovered talented individuals worldwide.

We need the funding to begin the adventure of durable hoods for the coming winter and need to meet the minimum required to get production in full swing! It will be a collaborative design with Sam Simpson-Crew creating the screen printed design, Stuart Liddiard the embroidered and Emma Bell the pattern.
Our aim is for Mute to become a platform and new diverse way of exhibiting not only the artwork on the clothing but everything that glues us together from little edits to web navigation and photo sessions, helping these young talents get recognised.
Our name derived from the infamous mute grab, the ‘silent walking exhibition’ of creative talent and coincidentally Mute is also a beautiful white breed of swan.
By representing a Mute Collective garment you are helping it become possible for us to reward everyone involved by helping them get started towards their future hopefully with thank you’s such as equipment and programmes. It is like a game of ping pong, the more people support Mute – the more people Mute can support.
Our hoods have been designed so that they are fit for an active person on the mountains, out in skate parks in the winter or after a bone chilling surf. They have:
A water resistant lift pass pocket on the arm,
A water resistant chest pocket for mp3 players,
Kangaroo pocket with extra valuables zip stash inside,
Underarm zip vents,
Thumbies,
Overside hood to fit over beanies and helmets,
Slim but long fit,
Re-enforced for harsh weather with in different combinations,
Quilted panel on the back,
Wide bottom rim – not ribbed or constricting,
Material 35% polyester 65% cotton this helps to reduce water-log,
Unisex hoodies but do come in 2 sizes:
Petite – Mostly suitable for women with smaller shoulders, slight pinned waist and slight wide hips
Grande – Mostly suitable for men
