Its design has virtually eliminated theft of tools for the workman and other transported valuables by using the truck bed walls as a type of vault around the storage box. Vehicle security is becoming a bigger and bigger issue, especially for people who use their pickup trucks to transport goods for their small business, tools and equipment for construction work, or valuables during a move from one home to another.
Our innovation is the SPTruckBox “A Secure Smart Bed Box”, the next generation of pickup truck storage boxes with Bluetooth connectivity and a very high security level of stored item, a device that consists of three interlocking innovations. The first is a seamless container that when lowered into the bed of any standard pickup truck has no doors or visible means of access. The second is a set of flush under box bed mounts which must be unlocked in order for the container to be raised for access. The third is the proprietary secure Bluetooth and keyfob dual remote control operation with its internally mounted Pipelining technique code system that is considerably harder to hack into than other remote systems. We have incorporated both a hand held RF wireless rolling security Pipeline remote keyfob and a smart phone Bluetooth operation which is an inherently secure platform making our box the most advanced truck bed storage box. This coupled with all the other features makes our box the most secure storage truck box available.
When the three devices are used in tandem, it creates a secure container that cannot be tampered with and cannot be opened until its bed mounts are unlocked allowing the box to be raised for access. Whatever is stored inside is as secure as it can possibly be:
• The SPTruckBox has been designed and constructed in a manner that makes it a great deal harder to break into. First the box fills the entire bed of your pickup. Second there are no doors to easily get to, to pry open because the box is nestled down into the bed of the pickup. The doors are protected by the side bed walls of the truck bed. Third the box lifts up out of the bed by an electronic remote but has other power cutoff security measures that keep a code scanner from being successful at opening your SPTruckBox in an attempt to get to your tools or other contents kept in the SPTruckBox.
• Breaking into the SPTruckBox will present a much higher degree of difficulty and effort as well as specialized equipment and or tools than other pickup truck boxes.
• Other internal options include a specially designed slant tool box, a lift-out rig kit, a tall cab high ladder rack that fits around the side box door openings, a rear pullout blueprints drawer and blueprint storage tubes. In addition the user will have full use of the bed floor when the box is raised accommodate flat cargo like drywall, plywood, lumber or other low profile items.
