Here is a little excerpt from the plot – enjoy!

“The hospital hall is crowded with people: young, old, depressed, disabled, mothers and children, people in business suits, priests of all kind, as well as doctors. They all are waiting on a queue to reach a small pill stand. A nurse is giving away packages full of pills. On top the stand there’s a text:

“3 DAYS PROMO: Pilula No.5 extends life for free/ prevails over all maladies/0.99 only”

Nearby a children choir is conducted by a nervous old lady and next to them young men are putting posters on the walls, announcing the 3-days celebrationof the new pilules.

Among the crowd a woman around her 40s Dr Julia Poppy makes her way through to the elevator. She looks serious and the only unhappy person in the hall. She’s relieved when she finally gets to the empty space in front of the elevator. The crowd is left behind. She gets in and pushes the button for her floor. The doors open. Dr. Poppy makes a step out and hits a carton wall – her way is blocked with pill boxes.”

What we need & what you get

The project has so far won a prize in a script writing pitch competition and we’ll have the opportunity to shoot our film entirely on RED EPIC. We have arranged the main location for free – the hospital.

If you are interested in helping us realize our project here is the list with the expenses your help will cover:

the light equipment;

the costumes;
the make-up;
the decors and props
money to pay the actors;
catering;
transportation;
post production and VFX;
marketing and PR;
distribution expenses for film festival;

I would like to thank all of you who spent few minutes to read the presentation. That means you are aware of the pill obsession and you look for ways to change it. Well, as you see, the film is our way. And if you felt anything emotional while you went through the lines, then it’s probably your way too.

Let’s make the art triumph over the pharmaceutical mania!

We know that not everyone can spare money . So we ask you people – please spread the word for this campaign with friends, family, Twitter, Facebook using the Indiegogo share tools. Anyone you know that may be interested to help or just spread the word about the film! Thank you!
