Have you ever dreamed of being able to cook like a pro in your own home – being able to whip up a mouth watering meal for your friends with no effort at all, but still getting beautiful results? Adam and Ben did too, and decided to do something about it by creating Juvo.

The phrase ‘sous vide’ translates in French, literally meaning ‘under vacuum’. Today it’s commonly known as a method for cooking food sealed in a bag, using a water bath. Sous Vide cooking has revolutionised cooking in the last few years due to its unbeatable results, but until now it has been something only really used by professional chefs and restaurants.

Using precise temperature control, the revolutionary Juvo allows you to cook loads of great dishes to perfection, all with the press of a button. Adam and Ben have designed an app, jam-packed full of great recipes at your fingertips. All you have to do is tap, and Juvo takes care of the rest.

Juvo features WiFi control, which means you can control it from anywhere. This allows you to turn the machine on and set the temperature, or select your chosen food when you’re not even at home. Making it possible to put your food in the machine in the morning, and have your food ready for when you get home.

Adam and Ben are seeking to launch Juvo through Kickstarter, with the goal of selling 400 units in order to allow the project to hit production.

The first units are just £200 for the lucky people who get in quick.

The Juvo machine includes:

– 1kW heating element for fast heat up
– Insulated water bath for energy efficiency
– WiFi connectivity to allow control from anywhere
– Juvo App with times, temperatures and complete recipes
– 5l water bath size, perfect for domestic cooking

The prototype version of the Juvo app has been designed to run on iOS, but the production version will run on both iOS and Android.

Juvo will be designed to work in the UK, Europe and the USA.

The Juvo campaign can be found on kickstarter.com and runs from 1st – 31st July. If the funding target of £100,000 is reached, Juvo will be taken into production. Please help to make this a reality by visiting kickstarter.com/juvo
