As an all-inclusive institution, “Yakin” runs purely for the assistance and care of handicapped children in my region. We cover every cost through our own services and use community events and the goodwill of others to help develop and supplement the learning experience that these young children are receiving. The problem for “Yakin” is that there is a significant increase of handicapped children arriving to be assisted.
As much as we would love to help everybody who comes to “Yakin”, at the moment our funding and facilities do not allow for supply to meet demand. We are in need of assistance from investors and the community to help us create the right environment for these disabled children with;
• Furniture and facilities to help make any time spent at “Yakin” as effective as possible
• Creating education programs and ensuring staff have the training & resources needed to maximize learning potential
• Supplies like food and drinks to keep the children refreshed and nourished throughout the day so they can learn at the peak of their development
We help children with all disabilities, whether it is cultural and behavioural issues or learning disabilities, we have the means and the passion to assist these children. What “Yakin” lacks at the moment is the sheer resources needed to take the project to the next level.
