Now introducing Julie Simone’s 1st self-published book “Gagged” featuring 38 models shot between 2001-2014, with all subjects wearing gags. This incredible work of art is 100 pages of fun!

Foreword by Bella Vendetta :

The type of gag a person chooses says a lot about them. The culture of BDSM is rich and varied and the subculture of gags in particular is a very particular niche fetish that is not very widely studied.

Gagging someone, taking away their ability to speak, use words and communicate efficiently brings about a psychological power trip and surrender of control that differs from any other sort of bondage or restraint. Even on its own with no physical bondage holding a person back, a gag identifies a person’s status. With history tied to punishments in ancient cultures, underworlds and fantasy it is easy to use a gag to convey a multitude of feelings depending on the parties involved, the intention and, of course, the type of gag used.

In this case: these photographs are all about gags that Julie Simone herself chose. Though we never get to see her in these photos we are left to imagine the look she must have on her face, we are left to guess what her intent must have been. She uses a variety of gags and methods of gagging from ball gags, over the mouth gags, cleaves, stuffing, dental gags and some of My personal favorites clothespins and even needles.

The images are powerful, at times shocking and a testament to the multi-layered artist Julie is. From choosing the gag and method, to choosing the correct model, expression she wanted them to convey, camera and lighting she has painstakingly created images that are not sexual in nature, and has sexualized them. Has she though? Has she taken something artistic and made it sexual or vice versa?
In finding which images resonate with us are we finding what parts of control we are longing to give up?

Pain, humiliation, having the truth stuffed into our mouths, our lips sewn shut, our mouth made into tools for another’s amusement. Gags have a way of bringing someone deeper into submissive mind space, without the blathering sound of our own voices we’re left in our own head to reflect and give up trust to someone else. Not just someone else, Mistress Julie Simone, who is going to use our bodies as a canvas to make perverse art.

Please contribute and share so that we can reach our goal and make this book a reality!
