The TimeDock allows employers to clock employees in hassle free for the first time! Many industries are still relying on traditional paper time sheets. Keeping track of all the paper, sending it to the office, keying it in; it’s such a hassle! And most field-based systems out there suck! -or are otherwise expensive and proprietary.
Can’t we just use someone’s app?
Yes, and NO. Sure, there a a billion ‘apps’ and even some wall-mounted time clocks that connect with the cloud. But who wants to do a search through a thousand employees to select the right one, or navigate tiny buttons on small touch screens. If it isn’t easier that writing your time down on a piece of paper then employees are going to resist implementing it into your business.
We use NFC (Similar to RFID but for phones) and QR Codes as a simple IN/OUT entry point for clocking employees in. A GPS snapshot can be optionally recorded at the time and data is made available to payroll admins within seconds through our cloud based platform TIMEDOCK.
We have two co-owners within the company. Le-roy Staines (Technical Director) developed the idea and product to the level that it is at now. Le-roy has 5 years experience in high-rise industrial engineering both as a labourer and moving up to project management. After that he formed a web development company DVI for nearly 5 years. After spending a year working on TIMEDOCK part time (all night long!) he closed DVI in favour of TIMEDOCK and brought on board long-time client and business mentor Warren Coogan. A full year of double-time development then proceeded and we just launched on the 4th of March 2014!
