Hong Kong, April 2022 — The M1 STEM Car, a smart robot car, launches on Kickstarter. The M1 STEM Car provides an opportunity for kids to learn STEM education. These robotic cars are perfect for the kids to play while learning beginner skills like programming, electronics and AI. Through playing with the M1 STEM Car, it unlocks children’s potential and imagination.
The M1 STEM Car combines STEM components such as Micro:Bit, various sensors and extensions, allowing students to relate to the robotic car in a more realistic application. Daniel Lee, creator of M1 STEM Car, bringing the idea of combining the robotic car and coding at his company.
“I want to bring some “cool” features that make our robotic car more unique than those in the market.”
The different way of the other robotic cars is their car use of mecanum wheels instead of the normal wheels. Mecanum wheels have the ability to move instantaneously in any direction, from any configuration, easily to drift and perform certain tasks within static obstacles, dynamic obstacles or narrow areas.
The additional A.I. Camera enables the M1 STEM Car to recognize faces, detect colors, read signs, recognize and track objects. All these powerful functions do not stop here, by interacting with the smart city kit, the M1 STEM Car can reach another level of function. The smart city kit includes traffic lights, signs, smart barriers and smart street lamps; adding in the A.I. camera, the M1 STEM car now can detect traffic lights, act according to signs and even achieve auto driving!
With the rich accessories and kits, the M1 STEM car is not only a robotic car but also a bridge between our kids and the futuristic city.
