Port St. Lucie, FL  – Local chef, Robin Potter, has officially launched an Indiegogo campaign for ‘The French Quarter’, a 2018 planned restaurant in Port St. Lucie. The Indiegogo campaign aims to garner widespread support and financial backing to open ‘The French Quarter’.

Chef Robin’s vision for ‘The French Quarter’ is a neighborhood bar and eatery inspired by the food, drink and music of New Orleans which has inspired his style of cooking and it will pay a homage to his mentors, family and friends that live and work in the “Crescent City” everyday. The menu will feature New Orleans inspired dishes and southern staples like fried green tomatoes and po’boys, a raw bar, a list of classic and eclectic New Orleans cocktails, beer, wine and more.

Chef Robin has been cooking and sharing his love of food for many years and became a professional chef 8 years ago after leaving the Information Technology field of 19+ years and is currently the executive chef and owner of River Cat Gourmet – Culinary Services, a family owned and operated New Orleans inspired personal chef and catering service on the Treasure Coast of Florida.

“I believe it takes a community to raise a restaurant and I’m hoping that our Indiegogo page is the place that will allow me to bring my “Love Letter to New Orleans” to our local area,” said Chef Robin.

Indiegogo is a funding platform for creative projects. Everything from films, games, music to art, design, technology and more. ‘Backers’ who support a project on Indiegogo get an inside look at the creative process, and helps that project come to life.

All ‘Backers’ of ‘The French Quarter’ Indiegogo campaign will receive perks in exchange for everything from getting their name on a brick in a wall ($25 pledge) to hanging with Chef Robin for a day in the kitchen ($10,000 pledge).
