Marietta, GA-21 September 2014 – Independent game developer Dremico Evans is raising funds on Kickstarter for the deluxe version of his own “Dremico’s Halloween Card Matching” game. The game’s freeware has already been featured at GameJolt where Dremico frequently publishes games under his name. With the target funding of $1,400, Dremico can deliver the demo version by October or November 28 and the full game with estimated delivery by February of 2015.
Delving Into The Game
The freeware version of his trademark Halloween Card Matching game was released since 2011 over at GameJolt. Dremico wishes to enhance this initial offering and introduce the deluxe version just in time for Halloween this November.
He looked into crowdfunding to realize his passion and dedication toward making new game creations he made himself.
The game is not the usual card game but rather an RPG, real time strategy game with two different modes of adventures. First mode is simply card matching and the other one is adventure mode where the RPG adventure begins. There are fights, treasure hunting, and chances to fight monster bosses throughout the levels.
The Kickstarter Effort
Dremico is an avid gamer enthusiast and aspiring gaming designer himself. He has started his KickStarter crowd funding not just to finance this new game but also have additional funds to improve his skillset as a programmer [with the training he gets while on developing tasks] and upgrade the hardware he’s using while creating the actual game.
Every pledge has its corresponding rewards including a $2 pledge which will entitle them to a digital download of the finished game. Individuals or any entity with ighest pledges amounting to $60 or more will get digital download plus in game mention in credits, sticker and bookmark designs, t-shirt iron designs plus a chance to become one of the card souls as seen in the game.
Funding period started last September 16 and will end by October 28, 2014, exactly 42 days.
Funds will also be used to support advertising costs of his website, cost of living while doing the development of the game and a chance to pursue a full-time career in the game development industry.
Other Works
Dremico is apparently very prolific when it comes to producing games. As of current, excluding the planned deluxe version of his new Halloween card matching game, he has published 8 other free games over Game Jolt, a gaming platform for aspiring developers.
Other game titles include: Retro Revin Racers which has a 5 star rating, Beyblades Fan Game, and Retro Ally’s Adventure among others.
