Hi my name is Caitlin and I have been struggling with poor health for years now and it has wrecked my life. I need help because I need to get a costly medical treatment called prolotherapy for my Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and hypermobility that will help me get my life back. I had to stop working because my health including my seizures got so bad it was dangerous for me to go anywhere. I was barely getting by using my credit cards. Because of this, I am now up to my neck in debt and received no help from social security. I tried applying repeatedly and was denied each time. I tried to get unemployment but unemployment considers to be disabled and I was unable to. My health issues are disabling and bring me so much pain emotionally and physically. My doctors recently discovered that I am hypermobile and have been living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I feel constant pain throughout my body, in every one of my joints. My joints are unstable and stretch out the nerves and ligaments far beyond how they’re supposed to. My nerves are bare to feel all the pain all the time. Everything I do causes me pain. I’ve tried every medication out there to help my pain that my doctors have been willing to prescribe. Nothing has helped significantly for me to be able to function well enough in day to day life.
Because of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome I have joint instability, fibromyalgia, myofscial pain and complex regional pain syndromes, asthma, gluten sensitivity, TMJ, mast cell disorder, and basilar migraines.
The basilar migraines are so extremely painful and so easy to trigger. Just driving at night seeing the headlights on cars triggers them. Even a simple change in weather to my neck being in different position. There is a clinic in Florida called Caring Medical Clinic that treats my conditions. No where else do they do what they do. I have searched and searched for someone to treat my condition, this is the only place that actually treats it not just prescribes medication. I have spoken to Caring Medical and they said prolotherapy treatment is what I need. Through this treatment they would be strengthening and tightening the ligament junctions. Strong ligaments will allow my joints to properly glide through their normal range of motion without constantly subluxing and causing body pain and triggering autonomic nervous system symptoms. The instability in my neck is what has caused the mast cell disorder and basilar migraines.

I need prolotherapy in all of my joints, this will be very costly and unfortunately this clinic doesn’t take insurance so I cannot afford it without help.
