‘Hooked On Film‘ is a web series sponsored by Event Cinemas, Innaloo. We review blockbusters,foreign films and most importantly local films made in Western Australia. The series is about promoting films that are important to us as young adults and the film industry within WA.
The series is filmed in the luxurious Gold Class lounge where our quirky presenters review the films carefully chosen by our team.
We then interview the production team from the chosen local films and then test their film knowledge with a cheeky quiz of some sort.
We have filmed our first episode reviewing ’47 Ronin’, ‘Her’ and the local film ‘Pale Date’. It has proven to be a fantastic short 15 minute episode with enough information on each film for every viewer to decide whether the film is worth watching or not.

First season will run from the 19th Jan to 23rd March 2014.
Now that you know more about our project we need everyone’s help to raise funds to pay the basic needs. Right now we are trying to cover the insurance costs we have had to pay as well as a few extra things to bring the series to everyone on Youtube. All of our details are on our Pozible page with information about our crew as well.
If we cannot cover this season’s costs we will need to reconsider the a second season which means some amazing local films will never be shared.
