24-hour countdown for the only Indiegogo wearable that brings style and infinite functionality together as one.

GENOVA, Italy – March 20, 2015 – With just over 24 hours remaining, HIRIS announces that its Indiegogo campaign has reached its 95% milestone and is closing in on its $80,000 funding target. From monitoring your heart rate and fitness performance to enabling you to control almost any connected device, HIRIS aims to simplify your life and is the only wearable computer that brings style and infinite functionality together as one. To back HIRIS’ Indiegogo campaign, visit: www.indiegogo.com

HIRIS seeks funding for the mass production of its new, modular wearable computer, which is powerful enough to track fitness and sports performance in real time as well as control the world of technology around you. With a simple flick of the wrist, HIRIS’ gesture-controlled commands allow you to seamlessly interact and intelligently control GoProSpotify and Philips Hue. HIRIS will also soon be compatible with the Nest Thermostat and IFTTT.

In addition to offering a wide range of wristbands – casual, sporty, waterproof or adhesive mounts, HIRIS’ Air Touch function allows you to use it with or without gloves, making it usable in almost any situations. With HIRIS, more than one unit can be used or mounted on your body or other objects. Examples of HIRIS in action include:

• Control Your GoPro – Take a picture of your snowboarding highlights with simple air touch and gesture-controlled commands

• Fly Your Drone – Control and fly your drone through combined motion-controlled commands

• Home Control – Control any smart-home appliance to create the ultimate connected lifestyle

• DJ App – Mix your music using body movements and transform your performance
• Rehabilitation – With multiple units, track and analyze specific movements

HIRIS’ incredibly powerful and flexible capabilities can be realized in many ways. Through the HIRIS Store, a wide range of apps are made available for download, allowing HIRIS to be used for almost any situation, such as home control as well as health and fitness – monitoring steps taken, calories burned and/or assessing your tennis form.

“When HIRIS was conceptualized, we knew that the technology needed to adapt to people, not the other way around,” said founder and inventor, Marco Gaudina. “Our team came together to pursue a single mission: change the way we think about technology by making a wearable computer for everyone that is affordable and usable in any situation.”

HIRIS has a goal of raising $80,000 through its Indiegogo fundraising campaign, offering backers the ability to own a HIRIS Core starting at $164 for its early bird edition. With just 24 hours remaining, HIRIS will be available for backing through March 21, 2015 and expects to ship its first devices as early as September 2015.
