Help VacuPractor Stop Back Pain In The Military

Paul Hagen is the CEO and founder of VacuPractor, a Veteran owned small business (VOSB) based here in the U.S.A. The company produces a specially designed, highly durable and portable, polypropylene molded device that when properly used relieves back pain.

As a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corp from from 1987 to 1992 he had the honor of serving his Country at the U.S. Embassy, La Paz, Bolivia, the U.S. Mission to the United Nations, Geneva, Switzerland, and the U.S. Embassy, Paris, France. Now, he wants to continue his service to America only this time to his fellow military personnel in the form of back pain relief.

VacuPractor is a revolutionary new patented device registered with the FDA for the treatment of lower back pain. One of the aspects of this pain relief device concerns the fact the user controls the treatment themselves. A user simply lies on the device, creating a natural vacuum effect to gently pull the spine and stretch the muscles in the lower back area. Pain is relieved in as little as five to ten minutes of use. VacuPractor is a drug free solution and can be used on any flat firm surface with just a bit of moisture on the surface of the device to ensure proper suction. It can be combined with other pain treatments as part of a patient’s total care.

Paul says: “After my back stopped hurting, helping others with lower back pain became my calling.  It took us 5 years to get the patent, 1 year for FDA registration, and we have all the certifications and approvals to sell to the Government including our own Cage code.  We recently started making a few P-card sales too.”

Paul’s goal is to raise at least $48,000, a realistic measure of what is required to make his mission of helping fellow U.S. Military members a reality. He needs help from the Indiegogo community to make it happen. Paul expects to be able to compete with large drug companies with massive budgets however he cannot do that without additional funding.

For the operation to grow and succeed at these increased levels, VacuPractor needs a new mold to increase production, and lower costs. The mold costs $15,000 and he wants to produce the VacuPractor in 3 different sizes, small, medium and large instead of one size fits all which will increase effectiveness over the 95% mark. Money is also needed to produce the VacuPractor in low visibility colors like military green, camouflage and tan.

The team also wants to produce a high quality “Explainer” video that illustrates in simple to understand terms how effective and easy to use the VacuPractor is. These videos cost between $5,000 and $15,000.

Paul chose the crowd funding community of Indiegogo because it just made sense for this sort of project. Other Internet funding sites tend towards the artsy or ultra creative, and he understood the need for a community of like-minded folks that would get the critical nature of the project. So many people espouse their support of the U.S. Military, and yet other than attending parades or waving their flags, there has been few ways for proud American citizens to truly show and share their support for service men and women.

Now, with VacuPractor and the support of Indiegogo, folks from coast to coast will have a unique and truly beneficial means of supporting soldiers—especially when the troops need their help the most.
