Hello, My name is Chris Leahy and I recently suffered liver failure, and have since been diagnosed with stage 4 decompensated liver cirrhosis. My family and I are trying to raise enough money to get to them to receive the support, and care I need. We are very thankful for all the help we have received so far, but we are approaching the deadline of march 29th to get all the funding we need, so we are asking for your help.
I will eventually require a transplant, and am awaiting further test results to find out the cause. I have since chosen a life of complete sobriety, and have accomplished 5 months of this so far. The Scary part is this is an end stage liver disease, and I am only 27..
My life has changed drastically as far as employment, lifestyle and choices, dietary, and so much more. Ever since these events, I lost my job and have been unable to provide for myself. I managed to receive social assistance, but they cover only my rent and then I’m left with 33$ for the month for food and supplies. My bills have since gotten overwhelming and have got me drowning in debt.. I have seek out every bit of financial assistance that i can get, and am starting to get worried that we wont get the funds we need to make this happen..
After April, I will not have a place to stay anymore, and that is very detrimental to my health.
A few months before I had been in a car accident with my uncle, where they also suspect I may have possibly damaged my liver.
