I am trying to raise money to fund the only painkiller available that helps my severe, debilitating 10 out 10 chronic pain.

It is medically legal, but the NHS will not fund it for chronic pain.

Having suffered for many years with severe chronic pain to the point I was bedbound until I was put on the last and only painkiller on the NHS that does anything which is Fentanyl, which lowered my pain from a 10 to a 8 or 9 and made me not bedbound, but the pain is still severe and I barely leave the house at all other than for medical appointments that I can’t do over the phone.

I have withdrawals between fentanyl patches which is sweating and chills and worse pain. I change the patches at 48 hours instead of 72 hours as the withdrawal was even worse.

I have to take medications for the withdrawal, amitriptyline for the sciatica and migraines and I also have morphine for breakthrough pain as well which doesn’t really do anything but I can’t go back to a higher fentanyl dose as I couldn’t keep awake.

Medical cannabis is safe, no withdrawal, has never killed anyone, non addictive and works!

Sadly it comes at a high cost which I can’t afford on just over £300 a month income via PIP as I can’t work and can’t get ESA due to not paying national insurance as I only could physically work part time.

Having this painkiller would give me a better life. I would never be able to afford it on just over £300 a month before all expenditures including my prescriptions as I have to pay for those too.

It is much cheaper now than it was last year and this is the cheapest possible price.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Help give me some form of life! www.justgiving.com
