Cincinnati, Ohio (January 30, 2014) – Happy Android Ideas, a creative think-tank located in the suburban Cincinnati city of Mason, proudly announces the launch of their first creation, The Goose Egg Game.

It all started when long-time friends and Happy Android Ideas co-founders, Dan Grau and Brandon Compton, sat down to play cards. Finding their deck was missing a few cards, they did what any reasonable person would do, the pair created a whole new game.

Based on a series of exchanges where players trade and discard cards, the object of the game is to be the first to have five cards in your hand which equal Zero. Show your cards and shout out, “Goose Egg!” and you’ve won.

The creators believe they’ve created a game that has the same simplicity and mass appeal as other popular card games, such as UNO. “We created this (card) game for all ages… From my six year old daughter to my 91 year old grandmother, everyone we’ve shared this with has enjoyed playing the game,” says co-creator Dan Grau.

Surprisingly of note, the card game UNO was also developed in the Suburbs of Cincinnati. The beloved family-friendly game, UNO, was created in 1971 by a Cincinnati-Area barbershop owner.

The card-game-creating duo has released The Goose Egg Game for pre-sale on Kickstarter.com. You will find it listed as The Goose Egg Game: Let’s Hatch Some Fun!

For those unfamiliar with Kickstarter.com, it is a crowd funding social site. People from around the world post ideas and projects that they want to get funded.

For The Goose Egg Game, Dan and Brandon are excited to share with others what they’ve created. The future looks promising as this team of game creators prepares for the next stages of marketing The Goose Egg Game.
