Currently appearing alongside Usain Bolt in the new Virgin Media Campaign ‘This is Virgin Fiber’ and chosen by BBC Introducing as some of London’s best new music, Pop/World singer-songwriter Yasmin Kadi has performed alongside the likes of Paloma Faith, headlined Women of The World Festival at the Royal Festival Hall Southbank along with many other festivals. She landed a role in an Episode of the American TV Series Tyrant staring Chris Noth, where she wrote the top line melody and sang the song of the episode – A prayer For Our Daughters.
Her debut EP ‘Earthquake’ charted at No.1 on iTunes Ireland, with the likes of BBC Radio already championing the exceptional Sierra Leone born artist of African and Lebanese descent.
Yasmin has toured with MOBO Award winning Hip Hop veteran Roots Manuva, performed live on several BBC Radio Shows including BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour, is the face and voice of Channel 4’s ‘All 4’ campaign alongside Alan Carr and John Snow, and is starring in the new critically acclaimed Guitar Hero Video Game. Yasmin has been offered deals by Labels and Management to copy popular female artists in the charts and plug unsavoury products.
She believes in embracing and promoting individuality. “We should never have to fake who we are. We are unique and have the power within us, both individually and collectively, to achieve great things.”
