Vancouver, CA – On October 14 2015, Plus1Ideas launched a KickStarter campaign for GoHub, the world’s smallest USB-C hub that clips on a keychain.

“Your Macbook is designed for ultimate portability and elegance,” says Plus1Ideas team, “With GoHub, you can finally leave the clumsy USB-C adapters at home. Just grab your MacBook and go – your ports will always be there [on the keychain] when you need them.”

Starting at only $19 for backers, GoHub has the same functionality as Apple’s $79 Multiport Adapter, except for a HDMI port. In addition, GoHub’s enclosure is made with durable magnesium alloy, compared to the all-plastic Apple Multiport Adapter.

GoHub can also be equipped with up to 128GB storage. That’s 50% of additional storage for the MacBook, which comes standard with 256GB storage capacity.

“We’ve already built a fully functional prototype.” the creators explain, “with development completed, all that is left is the tooling required to mass produce GoHub, and we will be able to deliver GoHub in just 5 weeks.”
