GECKO JOINT is an innovative product that targets the mobile accessory market. It replaces bulky and expensive holders for mobile devices with a new, organically shaped rubber material. The round pads allow owners of tablets and smartphones to attach their devices to almost any surface in seconds and to remove them effortless and without any trace afterwards. GECKO JOINT is unlimited reusable.
Usage is straightforward: After the pads are placed on the back of the tablet or phone, the device can be attached to walls, glass, wood, metal, plastic and other clean and dry surfaces. GECKO JOINT fits in the smallest pocket and enables consumers to mount their mobile products temporarily and secure to car dashboards, walls, kitchen cabinets, bathroom tiles, windows, mirrors and many other places.
The name GECKO JOINT refers to the lizard with the remarkable ability to climb walls and sit even upside down on a ceiling. The product was developed by Ms. Michelle Boqurion from High Point in North Carolina in cooperation with a German manufacturer. The innovation is seeking financing through the crowd funding platform Kickstarter. Backers of the project will receive the technology gadget in March 2015. Mass production and retail distribution will start in late summer 2015.
