Winner of the first annual Spokane Arts Grants Awards (SAGA), “The Garageland Chronicles” completed filming in 2017 through the support of local businesses, community organizations, and more than 50 area artists, actors, and filmmakers. It’s the goal of this artistic collective to share our film, and Spokane’s talent with the World! We are proud to announce that on October 1st, 2017 we will launch out post-production fundraiser campaign via Kickstarter.

“The Garageland Chronicles” is a feature-length film anthology telling the story of the employees and customers of an independent record store. We glimpse the stories of these individuals by utilizing an unconventional narrative to show the diverse aspects of their lives.

Our film making team comprised of industry professionals, up-and-coming talent, and students produced a 94- minute film. This artistic collaboration used different writers, compelling ideas, independent music, and multiple directors of photography, telling very different chapters of a larger story.

Money raised during this campaign will go towards finalizing the completed film with a professional sound mix, color correction, and marketing materials as we take the film to festivals. We want to highlight the work of all the artists who participated in this project, and increase visibility of the talent from the Spokane area. Donors to our project will help optimize the look and sound of our film, creating a movie which will stand alongside professional works at festivals around the world.
