Hello I am the owner of Gami’s and over the last two years of providing food at fairs we have perfected our dry mixes. Many of our customers have been requesting when I would be opening a new location. since I won’t be opening another restaurant i have decided to sell my dried mixes online, and now people can have it in their home, and make the same quality food that is served in Gamil’s restaurants.
Gamil’s serves original ancient traditional Egyptian recipes. The influence of Arabic cultures in Egypt makes the food presently different and your dining experience more unique. The food is seasoned, but not spicy, garlic and cumin is used in abundance.
Gamil’s was first opened in 1971 and had 12 locations in California and after the earthquake of 1989 relocated to New Hampshire at 6 locations.
After closing the last restaurant in April 2013, our customers have been asking when we will be opening, especially the Egyptian falafel made with fava bean and garbanzo bean.
We thought we could pass along the dried product that all you need to do is add water and cook. These are the dried recipes that have been used in the restaurants and have been sold and perfected in the last 2 years.
We plan to have available these dried products: Shipped to you and all you do is add water and follow the simple instructions for conveniently homemade Vegan/Vegetarian foods.
to meet the demand we need to upgrade our food mills and grinders. as well as getting a new food sealing unit, and upgrade our existing kitchen facility to better handle the dried products and shipping.
It has been a pleasure to serve my many customers over the years and I hope to continue serving them in this capacity for many years to come.
