After many months of prototyping and design, we are proud to announce our new battle card game, Game Over!
Game Over was our answer to a problem my friends and I were facing earlier this year. We wanted to create a fun party game that was easy to pick up and play with any crowd, but one that didn’t suffer from being too shallow in the process. Having grown up in the NES era and really having an affinity towards retro gaming, there was never any question as to what the theme would be.
Drawing inspirations from dozens of games, Game Over is our ode to the golden years of gaming translated into a turn based tabletop card game. It’s also the game that we usually end up going back to whenever there is a get together, as the rounds are designed to be quick and accessible. It truly is a labor of love that we’d love nothing more to do than to share with others. It can be played with anywhere from 2 to 6 players with rounds lasting roughly 15 minutes. It’s the variety of the cards and gameplay that always seem to lure us into “one more round”.
Any support shown is truly appreciated as I would love nothing more than to get a bulk order of Game Over distributed via Amazon Fulfillment later this year or early next year! Given the current reception, there are already plans to create a “World 2” expansion pack that we couldn’t be more excited for!
