The fumeFan can make your life a lot easier. This is a soldering fume extractor, work lamp, and PCB holder. It absorbs fumes from the soldering and also provides you with a LED light for your work. The fan has a variable speed to keep the noise level down. The fumeFan is USB or 12V DC powered.
This not only gets rid of soldering fumes, it also holds your PCB with 4 flexible croc clips arms. You can easily swap a croc clip arm for a magnifier or magnet to hold your tools. The fumeFan comes as a kit, so you will assemble it yourself. All you need to assemble the kit is a soldering iron and a small Phillips screw driver. There are step by step instructions that will quickly guide you. Assembly time will take you about 20 minutes. The assembly process is fun and instructive for the hobbyists and makers.
