Give free internet to 6000 disadvantaged Moldovan families. They’ll have access to online-courses.
We’re a team from Moldova created in 2010. Already 5 years we create ideas to help all disadvantaged families in Moldova, including with electricity and clean water. Projects like this are valuable to the word.
Now, we want to give free internet and free online-courses to around 6000 people from disadvantaged families and schools for 1 year. This campaign is very important for us and unique for our national educational system, and to make this real we need $52.000.
If you want to make happy hundreds of people, let us break it down for you:
• Please only donate within your means, and in the knowledge that this project is a light-hearted venture with virtually no chance of succeeding.
• In order to realise this amazing dream, we have estimated our required budget to be in the region of $52.000. The vast majority of this expense would cover internet modems for disadvantaged families – $37.000, $6.500 for Wi-Fi points in the parks from the smallest towns and $8.500 for all schools. All needs we’ll buy through a partnership with a local mobile operator.
• If the disadvantaged families won’t have computers or smartphones, 200 computers will be provided for 1 year by another local partner.
• Then, all disadvantaged families will have the acces to online classes, including History, English and Romanian languages, Maths, Geography and Biology. Some teachers agreed to teach kids for free if will be a connection between them.
• The remainder of the money will be invested in cleaning the water from Pripiceni, Rezina until the end of 2020.
If we don’t reach our goal of $52.000, we’ll make a top and all the pledges will be invested in giving free internet for the smallest towns.
