Now introducing Fragmented – the feature film from director Douglas Elford-Argent and 30 Something Productions is now running a crowdfunding campaign on IndieGoGo. Fragmented is a thriller set in Mexico City, and promises to entertain audiences worldwide!

Douglas Elford-Argent was raised in Bristol, England until 2003 when he moved to Los Angeles, CA. Directing movies from the early age of 11, his first feature film (2002) was shot in New York City. This lead to a string of other features shot from London to LA. In July of 2013, 30 Something Productions decided to up the stakes and write a thriller set in Mexico City. With 40% of the movie to be Spanish speaking, they gave themselves a unique challenge.

‘Fragmented’ is a handheld gritty Thriller: ‘When a woman’s husband disappears abroad, the search to find him sends both criminals and cops down a twisted path littered with drugs, lies, adultery, and money. Who is telling the truth? Who is lying? And who will end up dead as a result?’

OUR JOURNEY

On November 3, 2013, Douglas and cast members Gwendolyn Garver, Xavier Jimenez-March and Aidan Bristow along with Cinematographer Ian McGlocklin packed up gear and props and headed to Mexico City. They shot for 18 straight days, long hours and sometimes gruesome conditions.

Rounding out local Mexico crew members were Sound Mixer Gerson Escudero and Producer Verity Oswin (Production Manager on the hit movie ‘Monsters’). Verity worked her magic to secure locations such as Police Stations, Hospitals, Jungle and Hotels for free. All additional local actors and production crew worked tirelessly in to see this movie through to the end.

Please share our campaign with friends and family to help us reach our goal.
